After working as a freelance architect in Bursa in 1990-1994 period, she continued her academic career by joining Uluda\u011f University Architecture Department of Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, with the opening of this department in 1994. Dosto\u011flu achieved associate professor title in 1997, and professor title in 2003, and served as Head of Department of Architecture in Uluda\u011f University for nine years. In addition she has been Bursa Culture and Natural Heritage Protection Board member and president (1998-2008).<\/p>\n<p>Dosto\u011flu, who started working at the Department of Architecture in Istanbul Culture University in 2010, has published many papers and statements at home and abroad, has two published books titled <em>Bursa in Ottoman Period<\/em> and <em>Cultural Heritage Inventory of Bursa: Monumental Works<\/em>, and has edited some published books including <em>The Story of the Bazaar: Historical Neighbourhoods of Bursa I<\/em>, <em>Historical Neighbourhoods of Bursa II<\/em>, and <em>Women and Architecture in Republic Era<\/em>.
