Bursa is Awarded the Grand Prize<\/p>\n
The Mayor of Bursa Metropolitan Area, Mr. Recep Altepe was awarded the \u201cProf. Dr. Metin S\u00f6zen Protection Grand Prize\u201d, the highest prize awarded by the Association of Historic Cities, with the Merinos Textile Industry Museum in the Contest for Encouraging Projects and Practices for Preserving Cultural Heritage (2011)\u201d organized by the Association of Historic Cities (TKB).<\/p>\n

The Mayor of Bursa Metropolitan Area, Mr. Recep Altepe talked about the services focusing on the historical heritage in Bursa, at \u2018YAPEX-Restoration Renovation and Cultural Heritage Protection Fair\u2019 organized by \u00c7EK\u00dcL Foundation, and said that historical and cultural assets render Bursa, a rich and diversified social habitat. The forum titled \u201cHolders of Metin S\u00f6zen Protection Grand Prize and Sustainability Prize in the Encouraging Contest 2011 organized by the Association of Historic Cities Talk\u201d, was organized at the EXPO Center in Antalya during the fair. The Mayor of Bursa Metropolitan Area Mr. Recep Altepe, the Mayor of Mu\u011fla Mr. Osman G\u00fcr\u00fcn, the Mayor of Aksaray Mr. Nevzat Palta, the Mayor of Birgi Cumhur \u015eener, the Mayor of Kula Selim A\u015fk\u0131n and the Mayor of Burdur Mr. Sebahattin Akkaya attended the session moderated by Mithat K\u0131rayao\u011flu, Member of the Advisory Board of \u00c7EK\u00dcL Foundation, as speakers.<\/p>\n
