Within the scope of \u201cNatural Life in Sarayl\u0131 \u2013 \u00d6rc\u00fcn History Corridor Project\u201d financed by East Marmara Development Agency (MARKA) and Golcuk Municipality, and prepared by Kocaeli G\u00f6lc\u00fck \u2013 Ba\u015fiskele Thermal Tourism Center and of which presidency is carried by Golcuk Mayor Mr. Mehmet Eliba\u015f, an examination tour was made to Bursa Cumal\u0131k\u0131z\u0131k Village.<\/p>\n
Within the framework of the project of which coordinator is Ay\u015fe D\u0131\u015fp\u0131nar, Toursim Union Director, abouy 80 people from Sarayl\u0131 and \u00d6rc\u00fcn came to Bursa for sample survey. At first, Master Art Historian Eser \u00c7ALIKU\u015eU from Bursa Site Management, talked about Bursa’s cultural and tourist values and development in aspect of the development of these values in respect to make them touristic values. She also gave detailed information about works related to Bursa and Cumal\u0131k\u0131z\u0131k, inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage List in 2014, and stated that long term works have been made for Cumal\u0131k\u0131z\u0131k and these works still continue.<\/p>\n
Project coordinator Ay\u015fe D\u0131\u015fp\u0131nar mentioned their project activities and said “Project that will be made in Sarayl\u0131-\u00d6rc\u00fcn have significant similarities, so we wanted Sarayl\u0131-\u00d6rc\u00fcn people to see Cumal\u0131k\u0131z\u0131k. We want to benefit from experiences of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality staff and Kocaeli University academic members. Our project will be limited with 24 months, and we aim to do the best works we can during this time, promote cultural and touristic values of Sarayl\u0131 and \u00d6rc\u00fcn, preserve historical monuments and nature while using them at the same time, make Sarayl\u0131 and \u00d6rc\u00fcn an attraction center, and allow G\u00f6lc\u00fck people adopt and embrace this project. I would like thank G\u00f6lc\u00fck Governor Mr. Adem Yaz\u0131c\u0131 and project contributor G\u00f6lc\u00fck Mayor and Union Chairman Mr. Mehmet Ellibe\u015f, who attach importance to revealing cultural and touristic values of our region and making them touristic attraction, for their supports.”<\/p>\n
After Ye\u015fil Tomb tour and lunch, visitors went to Cumalk\u0131z\u0131k and examined on site, before going back to G\u00f6lc\u00fck. Participants were really pleased with the tour and looked very excited at the end of the tour. They said that they wish Sarayl\u0131 and \u00d6rc\u00fcn become a touristic place as Cumal\u0131k\u0131z\u0131k and they would like to participate in this project and thanked everybody who organized this tour and project.<\/p>\n
