The Coordination and Supervision Board convened on the 12th of October and discussed the draft management plan submitted to UNESCO through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for nomination of Hangar Site-Cumalıkızık and Sultan Complexes for the world heritage list. Possible problems that might arise during the implementation of the plan were addressed at the meeting. The draft plan, revised on the basis of these discussions will be finalized and submitted to UNESCO.
The meeting of the Coordination and Supervision Board was held at the council hall in the historic City Hall at Heykel area. Bursa Site Director Prof.Dr. Neslihan Dostoğlu, Deputy Governor Mustafa Karslıoğlu, Regional Director of foundations Mürsel Sarı, Osmangazi Deputy Mayor Kenan Akan, Yıldırım Deputy Mayor Hikmet Aydoğdu, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Surveys & Projects Division Manager Nalan Fidan, Prof.Dr. Handan Türkoğlu and Prof.Dr. Füsun Alioğlu attended the meeting coordinated by Bursa Site Director, in their capacity as the members of the board.
