Bursa Metropolitan Municipality organised ‘Workshop on Cultural Sustainability in Bursa Tourism’ on 26-27 February in order to protect the cultural values of the city, carry them to the future and strengthen its tourism potential. Within the scope of the activities of the Sustainable Tourism Coordination Centre, 16 sessions were held with the participation of 77 speakers for two days at Merinos Atatürk Congress and Culture Centre.
On the second day of the workshop, Prof. Dr. Neslihan DOSTOĞLU, the Site Manager, and various experts made presentations in panels and sessions on ‘The contribution of being a UNESCO World Heritage Site to tourism promotion’, ‘Adoption of sustainable tourism principles in UNESCO World Heritage sites’, ‘Accessibility of UNESCO heritage sites’, ‘Search session on UNESCO World Heritage sites’.
