ICOMOS Annual General Assembly, Advisory Board Meetings and Scientific Symposium was hosted in Istanbul on 15-21 October 2016 by ICOMOS Turkey National Committee. Within the scope of this event, “Post-Disaster Reconstruction Scientific Symposium” was held in The Marmara Hotel on 20th September 2016. Ayten Başdemir Taciroğlu (Master Architect), Bora Akın (Architect) and Eser Çalıkuşu (Master Art Historian), who are staff of Historical Cultural Heritage Branch, represented Bursa Metropolitan Municipality. ICOMOS Meetings and Syposium’s dinner was held in Esma Sultan Palace in the same day. Zeynep Gül Ünal, Secretary General of ICOMOS Turkey gave certificate of appreciation of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, which is among the sponsors of the organization, to Master Art Historian Eser Çalıkuşu.
