Bursa Advisory Board Meeting

On 19 April 2024, a meeting of the Bursa Site Advisory Board was held at Tayyare Cultural Centre.

At the meeting, due to the death of Prof. Dr. Yusuf OĞUZOĞLU, who has been our Bursa Advisory Board Chairman since 7.02.2018, Prof. Dr. Özlem KÖPRÜLÜ BAĞBANCI from Bursa Uludağ University was unanimously elected as the new chairman and Y. Architect Mithat Kırayoğlu as the vice chairman. In addition, after the necessary decisions were taken in order to ensure the successful continuation of our World Heritage sites in the UNESCO World Heritage List, the members of the Advisory Board who attended the meeting expressed their opinions and suggestions regarding the 10th anniversary of the admission of Bursa to the UNESCO World Heritage List.
