REQUIREMENT TO DRAW UP A MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR REGISTRATION AS A WORLD HERITAGE SITE

UNESCO started to stipulate the requirement to draw up/implement a “Site Management Plan” as a prerequisite for assets and sites that are required to be preserved to be registered in the World Heritage List from the year 2000 onwards, aiming at preserving the assets or site under protection with the participation of all stakeholders, with due consideration to all aspects.
